Who We Are
About Joseph Laudie Dental
Dr. Laudie is a Kansas native and went to dental school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He went on to receive advanced training, including implant and IV sedation, while at the Ohio State University School of Dentistry, graduating as one of the top residents. Dr. Laudie enjoys dentistry and helping his patients have a comfortable and enjoyable dental visit.
Dr. Laudie is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He loves life-long learning and pursues continuing education to bring the latest that dentistry has to offer to his practice, team and patients. Dr. Laudie is pleased to be a certified provider of Invisalign orthodontics– the clear choice to braces.
Dr. Laudie is very involved in community service and outreach to bring dentistry to those who are less fortunate. He attends the Kansas Mission of Mercy Dental event every year, provides services locally, and goes to Honduras every two years to provide dentistry to those in need.
When Dr. Laudie is not helping people improve their oral health, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. His wife, Tara, holds a bachelor’s degree in piano performance and plays the violin in the local Emporia Symphony. His children, Kaitlynn, Jonathan, Adalynn, and Breelynn are his pride and joys. Dr. Laudie also enjoys gardening, camping, biking, hiking, fishing and beekeeping. He is a member of the Emporia ham radio club and is also fluent in Spanish, having lived in Guatemala for 2 years.

Our Staff
Lyn
Lyn has been in dentistry since 1995. Lyn is active in the Emporia community by serving on two boards, Emporia Rescue Mission and Homelessness Advisory Board. She enjoys helping patients understand their insurance plans and feeling financially comfortable about their dental decisions. She was raised in the Emporia area and raised her four kids in Madison. Her favorite hobby is playing with her grandkids, gravel cycling, camping, kayaking, running, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Marisol
Marisol has been in dentistry since 2011 in different capacities. She enjoys helping patients with scheduling, explaining insurance benefits, and their balance along with speaking Spanish. She was born and raised in Emporia. She has four amazing kids and is experiencing the joys of being a “glam-ma”. On her days off you can find her camping, taking trips, watching football or baseball with friends and family.
Stacy
Stacy is a dedicated mother of four grown children and two furry companions - Dudley and Hadlee. Stacy has been working in the dentistry field for over ten years, and has a passion for helping others achieve healthy and confident smiles. When she's not busy at work, she enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors. You can often find her hitting the gym for a workout, riding her bike through scenic trails, or kayaking on a nearby lake. She also loves spending quality time with her family and pets.
Alissa
Alissa graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Fort Scott Community College in 2008. Alissa strives to educate her patients so they understand the importance of their homecare and oral health. She and her husband, DJ live in Garnett with their 2 kids, Payton and Oliver. In her free time, Alissa enjoys spending time with family, coaching her kid’s sports, camping and watching the Royals and the Chiefs.
Karen
Karen has been a dental assistant since 1996. She enjoys all the different procedures we are able to offer to our patients and seeing the advancements that have been made in the field of dentistry. She has 3 grown kids with spouses and she is an amazing grandma to her growing number of grandchildren. She enjoys going to auctions with her husband, camping with her son and grandkids, shopping with her daughters, and hanging out with her family.
Jenny
Jenny has been a dental assistant since 2008 graduating from Flint Hills Technical College. Jenny is fantastic at making the patients feel less anxious, she helps them understand the reason for treatment and always has a story to tell about her four kids. Jenny lives in Neosho Rapids, KS with her husband Tanner, kids, Rhett, Rowdy, Claira and Cora. Jenny enjoys concerts, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Carrie
Carrie is a dedicated Dental Hygienist who graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Flint Hills Technical College in 2018. She is a proud mother of two wonderful boys- Quinton and Beckham, who are her biggest motivation in life. She is passionate about her work and is committed to providing the best care possible to her patients. When she's not working, she loves to spend quality time with her family, travel and cheer on the Chiefs!
Vanesa
Vanesa has been a dental assistant since 2019, graduating from Flint Hills Technical College. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and understand the treatment they are receiving along with speaking Spanish. Alongside her career, she is a loving mother to two children, Julianna and Lio. Vanesa actively supports her kids’ passions, including softball, baseball, soccer, and basketball. When she’s not busy with kids' sports, she enjoys going on family outings and exploring new places.
