TMD Splint Therapy
TMD Splint therapy is used to help patients who are experiencing jaw pain. This therapy includes a splint that fits over the teeth and allows the jaw to settle in its most natural position where the muscles supporting the jaw are relaxed and in harmony. A TMD splint is a conservative way to help alleviate jaw pain related to TMJ syndrome and has the added benefit of protecting the teeth from the damaging forces of clenching and grinding.
